the Gov'T Mule faced off against the allstate derby down in Houston's nrg stadium back on november 1st. The billowing black smoke in the sky and the live music practice beans and bullets with an air of expertise set the tone for this classicouthern rock 'n' roll band. The allstate derby was a key show in Gov'T Mule manager jeff "jelly"itizen's impressive career as he took on the challenge of producing such young, up-and-coming rock bands. The win gave the other band a feel-good victory as theyi knew they could do it. Jelly took his place in the rock 'n' roll world and the fact that the allstate derby was a key event in his career says much about the guy.
